5- Saturated Polyesters Resins

The esterification and polymerization process will occur in the absence of fatty acids. Saturated polyesters have more mechanical, chemical and humidity resistance as well as better color fastness compared to Short Oil Alkyd Resins and Isocyanate cured Alkyds. Therefore, they are used for automotive industry, can coatings, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, etc. The product code for this group begins with SPE and prefix 400.
