Silicone Protective Coatings:
|
a. Inorganic Zinc-Rich
Coating; which is formulated by a properly selected grade of
ethyl silicate. The high amount of zinc dust in the paint
formulation results in excellent anti-corrosive properties
through a cathodic protection.
A 75
μm
layer ensures an excellent protection in severe condition such
as chemical and industrial environments. The more
humidity, the faster drying process. These primers are used
in steelstructures,
refineries, petrochemicals, marine and offshore structures
etc.
The main characteristic of this group is
their resistance
against high temperatures up to 400°
C. Therefore, it can be used as a coating on pipe and storage
tanks containing hot liquids and where exposed to high temperatures.

 |
|
b. Heat-Resistant Coatings; which are based on siloxane resins. Due to the excellent
resistance to high temperatures, they can be used for coating
of stoves, chimneys, boilers and reactors in power plants, refineries,
petrochemicals, etc. depending on the type of pigments which
are used in the paint formulation, (including Iron Oxide, Zinc
and Aluminum, Micaceous Iron Oxide, etc ), it can withstand
high temperatures up to 650°
C. A 15 μm layer ensures a good
protection.

23126
 |
Heat resistant silicone
coating
|
Saman
23126 tolerates high temperatures up to 650°C
and is used for stoves, chimneys and boilers as well as
chemical factories, petrochemical sites, refineries and
power plants. Temperatures between 400°C
and 650°C
can be withstood depending on the type of pigments used
in the formulation. |

23620
 |
Inorganic
zinc-rich primer
|
Saman
23620 is a high performance primer with the ability of
protecting surfaces by itself. The high load of zinc dust
prevents the corrosion through a galvanic protection. A
dry film with 75 -100
mm
in thickness will provide excellent corrosion protection
in severe environment such as tanks, chemical and fuel-containing
vessels, as well as offshore and steel structures. The
product can withstand the temperatures up to 400°C. |
|
22670
 |
Alkyd silicone
primer
|
Saman
22670 is heat resistant up to 250°C,
therefore it is recommended for exteriors of steel structures,
valves, chimneys, air conditioners and heaters. A maximum
25 micron dry film in thickness should be applied to ensure
a better performance. |
