There are two kinds
of modified epoxy coatings:
a.
Epoxy Ester;
which is a one-component air-drying modified epoxy

this group intermediate between alkyds and other
epoxies. They are used for protecting the surfaces
of steel structures, bridges, etc.and where exposedto
UV radiation.
b.
Epoxy Phenolic;
which is a one-component stoving coating. Due
to the excellent resistance against acids, it
is mainly used in packaging industries for food
as well as hygienic environments. |
